Students and teachers also went out the campus to monitor roadside air pollution near the campus. They surprisingly found out the PM2.5 concentration of a bus stop next to the school entrance is higher than expected.

The project aims to raise public awareness to divert their attention towards air pollution. By empowering the schools, parents, and the neighbourhood to develop a community based monitoring network that enables the involvement of different parties, Hong Kong has strengthened its resilience towards environmental health.
