On Nov 24th, Clean Air Network and BNP Paribas hosted the “Airmazing Race”, a team building event that raises awareness about air pollution issues. Graduates from BNP Paribas participated in this scavenger hunt game, all of whom spent 75 minutes hitting the road on foot.

The 40 energetic participants planned their routes and discussed strategies as teams. Upon arriving at one of seven checkpoints, they were asked to complete a task related to the topic of air pollution. Through these challenges, participants learnt first-hand how air pollution affects our daily lives.

The fastest team with the highest scores were then awarded. After the event, the graduates were invited to share their thoughts and learning. Many of them felt they became more aware about air quality issues. “It’s good to know something that we usually miss out in our daily life,” said Aron Li. Others were even inspired to take more responsibility for cleaner air. “There is a need for the change. I will try to be ‘greener’ in the future,” said Xundi Xu.

Airmazing Race is an interactive way to raise awareness that clean air is essential to all of us. It also inspires the public to believe that every individual has the power to conquer air pollution and build a sustainable future.

“Everyone should take the initiative to improve air quality,” said Frank Choi, one of the participants.
