Please take our Parent Survey about Air Pollution and Child Health
We are presently conducting a parent survey through the offices of several leading pediatricians throughout Hong Kong in order to learn more about child respiratory health and parents’ attitudes towards Hong Kong’s air quality management policy. If you are parent, please take a few minutes to answer the questionnaire online. If you are a pediatrician and would like to get involved, please contact us at info@hongkongcan.org Dr. Alfred Tam, leading pediatrician and Chairman of the Hong Kong Asthma Society, has been instrumental to this initiative and not only vetted the questionnaire, but is presently conducting the survey in his office, as well as conducting petition sign-up on our behalf.
AmCham lunchtime talk by leading expert, Professor Anthony Hedley, HKU
On March 22, Professor Anthony Hedley, Chair of the Department of Community Medicine at Hong Kong University, will give a lunchtime talk at AmCham entitled “How much is air quality really costing us?” The talk is open to non-members. Visit the AmCham website for full details.
