What will it take to jump start the surface transport industry towards cleaner technologies? And rev up the engine to create a revolution in Asia away from fossil-fuel dependent internal combustion engines? With heightening concerns over global warming and air pollution, the time is ripe for the electric vehicle industry to take off, given the right policy framework and environment, along with consumer acceptance.
