“Clean up the air one signature at a time”

Clean Air Network is pleased to announce the launch of its campaign, “Clean up the air one signature at a time”, TODAY.

The slogan refers to The Petition for Clean Air which continues to be the centerpiece of CAN’s public messaging. We chose to focalize attention on a petition for two reasons: first, signing a petition is something a member of the public can do; second, this is a concrete deliverable that can be handed to the Hong Kong Government. Air pollution is not like climate change: the primary driver of better air quality is government policy, not behavioral change or reduction of energy consumption by the individual.

Thanks to the support of Hong Kong’s largest shopping mall owner, The Link,

I hate to say it – but as soon as I walked out of the Hong Kong Airport, I cannot dispute the fact that it is really bad!! By the way, I’ve just arrived back from Singapore last night. And just the other day, I have been defending that Hong Kong is not that bad..still..the difference is indisputable!! We have a CHOICE here – so let’s “Clean up the air one signature at a time”!!
