Pollution targets will be met, minister says

The mainland is well ahead in its five-year plan to meet pollution control targets, the environment minister says.

Zhou Shengxian told a national conference of environmental officials that he was confident that China would meet its targets for curbing emissions of major pollutants by the end of this year…
