Tell us WHO should pay the cost of cleaning up HK's air by completing our survey
- CAN wants you to participate in a quick survey about who should pay for reducing Hong Kong’s air pollution. If we collect enough responses, we can send the results to the Government and media. Please forward the questionnaire link http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/?p=WEB229TYSHCMA8 to your friends and associates. There are only 6 questions, meaning it only takes a minute or two to complete.
- CAN has put together a comprehensive powerpoint on franchised bus emissions, so you can understand why it’s important to phase out older, polluting buses.
- CAN encourages you to participate in this Sunday’s “Stroller March” organized by CAN Friend, Friends of the Earth. Meet at 2:30 pm, Sunday, Edinburgh Place, Central.
- We have posted the views of all LegCo and District Councillors regarding air pollution and the present AQO review, to give the public a clear idea on their policy position.
- Although CAN’s activity is focused exclusively on air pollution, from time to time, we may touch upon other topics or events in our newsletter: We encourage you to attend the next Intelligence Squared debate in Hong Kong, which features CAN Chairman Christine Loh as one of the 4 panelists. The topic is climate change and the 3 other speakers are internationally recognized leaders on the subject. Full details can be found here.
- Find us on Facebook. As of today, our Facebook group has more than 6000 members. Join the group today, and stay tuned to Clean Air Network.
