Northeasterly monsoon pushes roadside pollution very high

The northeasterly monsoon that arrived this week not only brought the city cooler and dry weather, it also pushed roadside pollution in Central to a very high level.

Central’s roadside pollution level has been above 100, considered very high, since Monday night, but it worsened steadily yesterday and reached as high as 135 at 6pm.

It was the fifth day in a week Central registered very high pollution…
