Smog likely to stay for another few days

The heavy pall of smog that has been hanging over the city for the past few days shows no sign of retreating today as autumn begins to set in, with the minimum temperature cooling to about 24 degrees Celsius today and 23 degrees tomorrow.

Authorities advised people in poor health to stay away from crowded areas and districts with heavy traffic today because air pollution would remain at high or very high levels…
