Xi urges more co-operation on the use of clean energy

The mainland and Hong Kong should expand co-operation on the use of clean energy, Vice-President Xi Jinping says.

The call was made yesterday as the state leader attended the signing ceremony for an agreement between Hong Kong-based CLP Power and the state-owned China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group (CGN). This will extend the supply of nuclear electricity from Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station for 20 years to May 2034…
