CSL supports CAN through unprecedented SMS campaign, starting today!

By cleanairnetwork

For two weeks beginning today, CSL, HK’s largest mobile network operator, will conduct an SMS campaign on behalf of CAN. Two SMSs, one in Chinese and one in English, will encourage the public to sign the CAN petition, “You can breathe healthy air in HK only 41 days a year. Help us clean up air pollution, one signature at a time.”

In addition to the SMS campaign, CSL is supporting CAN by linking to CAN’s petition on the landing page of its website and putting up e-posters in the CSL retail stores all over Hong Kong. Last Friday, CSL sent an email to its own staff, encouraging them to sign the petition. For the full story, click here.

Such a huge support from a household name such as CSL will immeasurably boost CAN’s visibility, reach and effectiveness.

With CSL paving the way, we hope that other corporations and large organizations will follow suit to unite with CAN on air pollution — Hong Kong’s biggest public health crisis. It is through the leadership and vision of such large organizations that we CAN solve this problem together.
